About Humanitarian Vision Foundation
"Empowering humanity by bringing vision to life for a brighter tomorrow."
Building Opportunities, Transforming Communities
Humanitarian Vision Foundation is a Section 8 Company, established under the Companies Act, 2013, in 2022, with the core mission of "Empowering humanity by bringing vision to life for a brighter tomorrow." However, the foundation’s origins date back to 2001 with the creation of the Chaudhary Devi Lal Memorial Trust, which laid the groundwork for several impactful initiatives.
One of the key projects of the trust was the founding of the Chaudhary Devi Lal Centre for Learning (CDCL), designed to offer young people access to both skilled and higher education, with a focus on technology skilling and entrepreneurship. Located in Chandigarh, CDCL created a nurturing learning environment preparing students for modern careers.
In 2014, Enliven Skills India Pvt. Ltd. was formed as a corporate entity dedicated exclusively to scaling skilling initiatives across sectors. Recognizing the potential to address wider societal challenges, the Humanitarian Vision Foundation was established in 2022 to encompass health, women's empowerment, social inclusion, and ecological sustainability.
