Humanitarian Vision Foundation
Humanitarian Vision Foundation is a Section 8 Company, established under the Companies Act, 2013, in 2022, with the core mission of “Empowering humanity by bringing vision to life for a
brighter tomorrow.” However, the foundation’s origins date back to 2001 with the creation of the Chaudhary Devi Lal Memorial Trust, which laid the groundwork for several impactful initiatives.
One of the key projects of the trust was the founding of the Chaudhary Devi Lal Centre for Learning (CDCL), which was designed to offer young people access to both skilled and higher education, with a focus on technology skilling and entrepreneurship. This progressive vision sought to equip youth with the skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly technological world while fostering an entrepreneurial mindset that could drive innovation. Located in the heart of Chandigarh, CDCL was
established with a clear and ambitious mission: to excel in education and maintain the highest standards in all its activities.

Improve Academic Performance
Enroll 35–40 school-going children performing below grade level in Fatta Khera and achieve measurable score improvements in baseline-to-endline learning assessments.

Ensure at least 75% of enrolled children attain age-appropriate reading and basic arithmetic proficiency through standardized monthly and quarterly assessments within one year.

Fatta Khera is a rural village in the Lambi block of Sri Muktsar Sahib district, Punjab, where low levels of adult literacy and limited financial resources restrict educational support for children. While government initiatives have improved school enrollment, challenges related to educational quality, multi-grade management, teacher shortages, and language barriers persist.
Community & Self-Help Engagement: Active collaboration with parents and women-led Self-Help Groups to ensure sustainable upliftment.
Foundational Literacy & Numeracy: Targeted instruction to restore academic confidence and bridge learning delays.
Beyond the classroom, children face constraints such as a lack of dedicated study spaces at home, minimal academic support from caregivers, early household responsibilities for girls, and emerging behavioral challenges. Pragati Kendra was established as a targeted intervention to bridge these learning gaps and foster holistic development.
