HVF, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, Chandigarh, successfully conducted the POSHAN MAAH drive aimed at promoting nutrition and health awareness for pregnant and lactating mothers, as well as adolescents from underserved communities.

The drive took place at Anganwadis across Chandigarh, focusing on nutrition education, proper hygiene, and balanced diets. From understanding essential nutrients to practicing menstrual hygiene, HVF spread awareness to empower menstruators and young mothers for a healthier future.

Embracing Joy & Inclusivity

The Humanitarian Vision Foundation hosted an interactive and therapeutic session at Pingalwara, centered around diya painting and decoration activities for the residents.

The collaborative session provided a moment of relaxation, artistic expression, and companionship. The vibrant colors and patterns created gave participants a sense of accomplishment, reinforcing community solidarity and celebrating the resilience within the Pingalwara community.

To mark Children’s Day, HVF organized a week-long distribution drive gathering clothes, stationery, and toys for the underserved Banjara community living along the Ghaggar River in Panchkula.

Alongside meeting immediate resource needs, the drive conducted educational sessions on hygiene, sanitation, and healthcare. The initiative emphasized sustainable development and self-reliance, encouraging children and families to prioritize health and education to break the cycle of poverty.
